VPN Reviews
Each review below is based on the provider’s own website, privacy policy and app-store listings. Hands-on testing has not been published yet, so these pages describe stated terms, not measured performance.
Proton VPN
8.8/10Free plan: No data cap
Proton VPN Free has no data cap and no ads, on one device, with placement in one of ten countries at random. Run by Proton AG in Switzerland, it has open-source apps and yearly Securitum no-logs reviews paid for by Proton. Streaming and P2P are paid-only.
SingLink VPN
7.0/10Free plan: 200–500 MB/day
SingLink VPN’s free plan gives 200 MB a day on mobile and 500 MB on desktop per device, with no ads or card, on randomly assigned nodes in ten countries. It suits light use. Its privacy claims need caution: the policy conflicts with store labels, and its auditor’s independence is unconfirmed.
VPNCat
3.1/10Free plan: No cap stated
VPN Cat (快喵VPN) offers twelve free countries with no account on iPhone and iPad, funded by Google ads. Its “zero-log” claim conflicts with a seven-day connection record in its own policy, and its App Store label declares tracking. It suits casual use, not privacy.
SunSon VPN
1.4/10SunSon VPN has no free plan, only a two-hour trial before a ¥39.9 monthly plan with unlimited data on three devices. It states a British Virgin Islands base but names no company, and its privacy policy does not match an account-based service.
