SingLink VPN Review 2026

Verdict

SingLink VPN is a good fit if you want a small, ad-free daily allowance on several devices and no payment card. It is a harder sell if your priority is a provable privacy record. Its company history has changed, its logging policy leaves out data its own store labels declare, and we could not confirm that the auditor behind its reports is independent.

It sits first in our editorial order, and we explain why on that page. That position is our judgement, not a measured result.

Who it suits, and who should skip it

• Good fit: occasional mobile and desktop use, where 200 to 500 MB a day is enough and ads would annoy you.
• Good fit: people who use several devices, because the free allowance applies per device and the free plan has no device limit.
• Poor fit: anyone who needs a specific country, because free locations are assigned at random.
• Poor fit: video or large downloads on the free plan. The allowance is too small.
• Poor fit: journalists, activists or anyone whose safety depends on a VPN. Use a service with a longer, independently audited record.

The free plan in practice

SingLink states a free allowance of 200 MB a day on mobile and 500 MB a day on desktop, counted per device and reset at 00:00. Its terms say the app defines which time zone applies. Campaigns can raise this to 1 GB a day, but the pages disagree on whether that covers mobile or desktop only.

To put that in context, 200 MB covers messaging and light browsing, while a short video session can use it up. These are general estimates, because we have not measured SingLink’s real data use.

Free users get the Beta protocol only. Nodes are in ten countries and assigned at random, and SingLink says the countries change with capacity. The App Store and Google Play describe the same offer differently, as 10 free servers and 10 free network nodes. There is no card requirement and no ads, by SingLink’s statement.

Paid plans and refunds

Web prices and App Store prices differ, so it is worth checking which one you are paying.

App Store prices are from the US listing. Web discounts apply to longer terms, and the homepage says “Starting from $2”, but we could not find exact web prices for quarterly or yearly terms in the static pages.

There is no general money-back guarantee. The terms make subscriptions non-refundable apart from two cases: store purchases, which go to Apple or Google, and a confirmed technical failure lasting more than 14 consecutive days, where you must also have used under 1 GB or under 5% of the period. Those refunds are pro-rata. The terms also warn that a card chargeback can lead to suspension.

Who runs SingLink

SingLink’s privacy policy says SingLink Corporation in the British Virgin Islands operates the service, and that SingLink LLC in the United States distributes the apps and handles part of billing. A company post adds that the LLC corresponds to the US technical team. Apple and Google both list SingLink LLC as the seller. We could not reach company registers, so neither entity is confirmed by a registry.

The terms are governed by Wyoming law with binding arbitration there, while the privacy policy says activity-data requests are answered only if the process is valid in the BVI. Readers should note that a US company holds billing records. Whether US legal process could reach them is a legal question we cannot settle.

The story has also changed. In late 2025 the privacy policy said “we are a Singapore company”, and the terms chose Singapore law. SingLink’s about page now describes a BVI company founded in 2013, with a consumer product from 2023. Public records we could check start later: singlinkvpn.com was registered on March 1, 2025, and the iOS app was released on March 24, 2026. Those dates do not rule out earlier work, but we could not confirm it.

What the privacy policy says, and where it conflicts

The policy says SingLink does not create or hold connection records, browsing history, DNS queries, connection times or traffic detail, and holds “only two things”: a system-generated virtual email and order status. Account records are deleted three months after you stop using the service, and error reports within seven days. Those are provider statements. We found four places where other SingLink material says more than that:

None of this shows that SingLink logs browsing activity. It does show that “only two things” is broader than the evidence supports. One post also promises a transparency centre with request statistics. We did not find one.

Audits: named, but not confirmed as independent

SingLink publishes a security report and a no-logs review by VPNTestor, also called Openscore VPN. The security report scores 100/100 and the no-logs review says “Passed”. An earlier version of this review said SingLink named no auditor. That was wrong, and we have corrected it.

We do not call these audits independent, for two reasons.

• The relationship is unclear.VPNTestor says it has no commercial relationship with VPN providers. Yet SingLink’s about page lists SPTestor among tools its team built, and SPTestor says it is sponsored by VPNTestor. That does not prove a finding is wrong, but we cannot treat the auditor as unconnected. We did not find who paid for the reports.
• The reports have limits of their own. The security report tested iOS 2.0.7, Android 2.1.3, Windows 2.0.9 and macOS 2.5.3, while current apps are at 2.6.x. The evidence package was signed with SingLink’s own key, the report says this shows integrity rather than truth, and the node inventory was generated by SingLink. The retention policy changed on October 7, 2026, after the review.

Features

SingLink has one of the longer feature lists here. These are provider statements from its pricing page, about page and changelog. We have not tested them.

• All plans: auto-connect and automatic speed testing.
• Plus and above: proxy chaining to your own SOCKS5 exit for a stable IP, domain proxying, ad and threat blocking, and a mode for reaching mainland China apps from abroad.
• Add-ons and extras: a paid dedicated static IP, domain and app whitelisting, and custom dedicated nodes.
• In the apps: a kill switch, split tunnelling, IPv6 support, home screen widgets and Shortcuts.
• Flexible buying: one-time data packs that do not expire, and payment by Alipay, WeChat Pay, USDT, card or PayPal.

Security features and protocols

SingLink uses its own protocols: Beta, Sola and SingLink 2.0, plus a disguise layer called Mini, with higher tiers unlocking more of them. Its apps also include a kill switch, and Mini is designed to disguise VPN traffic. WireGuard and OpenVPN are not offered as options. The homepage advertises AES-256, but the protocol whitepaper does not assert it, and says its cipher suites and key handling are unpublished. Client and server source code is not public, and we found no independent cryptographic review. So we cannot assess the strength of its encryption from public documents.

Server claims

SingLink claims 3,000+ servers in 150+ countries, with 50+ on the Fast plan. The inventory in its no-logs review shows 206 logical records and 28 unique IP endpoints. The report warns these are different measures and not a total node count, so this does not disprove the claim, but it leaves the gap unexplained. We did not find a data-centre list or any statement on virtual locations.

Platforms and support

Apps cover iOS, iPadOS, macOS, Android, Windows, Linux and tvOS. Android TV is not available. Support runs through live chat for signed-in users, email and a Telegram channel, which SingLink says is run with volunteers. We have not tested support response times.

What store listings show

The samples are too small to mean much: 4.43 from 7 ratings on the US App Store and 3.3 from 34 reviews on Google Play, with 5K+ downloads. One October 2026 App Store reviewer says the paid Fast plan was slower than free, and that their account was banned after a refund request. That is a single unverified account. The press coverage SingLink shows on its homepage is syndicated press release material, and we did not find independent editorial coverage.

How it compares

Choose Proton VPN if you need more data on one device. Choose VPN Cat if you want no account and accept ads and tracking. SingLink’s main advantages are an ad-free free plan with no device limit, and a lower entry price on the web than Proton’s or VPN Cat’s monthly plans.

What we have not tested

We have not yet measured speed, streaming, leaks, kill-switch behaviour or real data use. When we do, the dated results will appear on this page.

Changes to this review

• November 5, 2026: Rewritten after rechecking all sources. Corrected the claim that SingLink names no auditor. Removed “outside the 14 Eyes”, which was not a reason to trust it. Replaced “10 nodes” with “nodes in 10 countries”, and removed OpenVPN from the feature list because SingLink does not offer it as a choice. Added App Store prices, refund limits, the company history, a feature list and document-based scores.
